UCF Graduation Photos

Camera lens:

Cameras always fascinated me and by the time I got to UCF, I knew I wanted to buy one of my own.  I spent my freshman year saving up money to eventually buy my first camera. In doing so, I cracked open the door to my entire future. 

I quickly became “that friend” with the camera – always wanting to document my experiences. By the time we all started graduating, many of my friends approached me to take their grad photos.  The door cracked open a bit more.

Rubber Ducks:

This obviously alludes to the most notorious campus tradition- Spirit Splash. I’ve attended every year and have acquired just as many Spirit Splash ducks. To me, the duck represents a full year’s worth of memories & experiences that make up a fulfilling college career.  The coolest part is that everyone’s experiences are uniquely their own. The duck means different things to everyone. 

Tassel:

This represents legacy and key milestones. And it varies for everyone.

For me? I found myself at UCF. I forged my confidence and fine-tuned my calling. I met the woman I now have the privilege of calling my wife.  I met my life-long friends and I’ve been introduced to an entire network of high-achieving individuals. 

And when I was halfway through my MBA program many years later, my family expanded with the birth of my son and I was completely inspired by how my classmates supported me and my family during those first few sleep-deprived weeks of learning how to be a father. 

My experiences at UCF literally changed my life and my UCF legacy is one of connection and relationships. 

I want my photography to reflect the legacy of my clients. Graduation is the end of a big chapter, but it’s the beginning of an exciting legacy.
